At the heart of Specialised Support Services (WA) is Becky Wood—a passionate advocate committed to empowering individuals living with complex mental health conditions and neurodivergent profiles. For Becky, this work is deeply personal. It’s about creating meaningful housing pathways, streamlining essential services, and ensuring every client feels seen, heard, and genuinely supported.
With a strong foundation in addiction studies from Edith Cowan University and ongoing education in psychology and counselling, Becky brings both clinical expertise and heartfelt empathy to every person she supports. Her extensive experience spans complex mental health presentations, neurodiversity, alcohol and other drug (AOD) concerns, and neurological conditions—ensuring each support plan is tailored, defensible, and grounded in best practice.
Her approach is firmly rooted in trauma-informed care, where dignity, safety, and understanding are central to every coordination effort.

With over a decade of experience in the mental health sector, Steph brings a wealth of practical knowledge, unwavering dedication, and a genuine heart for supporting others. Her career has been shaped by a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate complex challenges, access meaningful supports, and build lives grounded in stability, dignity, and hope.
Steph is known for her kindness, compassion, and tireless work ethic. She approaches every client with warmth and respect, creating safe spaces where people feel heard, understood, and empowered. Her ability to connect authentically with individuals from all walks of life makes her a trusted and valued presence in any support arrangement.
Her professional background includes working across a range of mental health settings, with particular experience supporting individuals with psychosocial disabilities, trauma histories, and co-occurring conditions.
